Camps 'R' Us, New York views staffing as the most important element in guaranteeing a successful summer camp program. As such, Camps 'R' Us provides its campers with a staff that is the most qualified, the most experienced, and the most child oriented to be found in the camping business. How is this possible?

We only hire the best. Candidates for employment at Camps 'R' Us are required to provide substantial references, endure an extensive interview process, and must demonstrate an inherent love for children.

We only invite the best to return. At the end of each summer, every member of the Camps 'R' Us staff is evaluated based on supervisor recommendations and parental assessments to determine which staff members will be invited to return to work for Camps 'R' Us the following season.

The Most Qualified

Each prospective staff member must fill out an application documenting a background in childcare and a background of skills pertinent to summer day camp programming. Then, each candidate is carefully screened in a lengthy personal interview by a Camps 'R' Us Director. After the hiring phase is completed, the entire staff undergoes an extensive pre-camp training and orientation program, which teaches them the Camps 'R' Us method for child care, development, and interactivity.

At Camps 'R' Us, our staff's natural interest in young people is best realized by maintaining the smallest camper-to-counselor ratio to be found in any summer day camp. The safety and supervision of our campers is our top priority. Our highly experienced and professional staff is committed to providing campers with a happy and healthy experience.
