Junior Counselor
Junior Counselors are responsible for facility and activity management. They do not work directly with campers, but support the camp experience through ancillary duties that are essential to the camp functioning properly. JCs, or CRU, as they are sometimes called, will often assist Group Leaders, Specialists, and Directors with various tasks. The Camps 'R' Us Junior Counselor is unique in the summer camp industry because we only hire candidates who have participated in our C2 (Counselor in Training) Program.

Floating Counselor
The Floating Counselor is a "Free Agent" for all Camps 'R' Us campuses. This Counselor is assigned to one campus during the summer as a backup or replacement for General Counselors. 'Floats' also travel with camp groups to certain off-campus activities to lower the Camper-to-Counselor Ratio, which enhances our ability to supervise large groups. Most notably, a Floating Counselor may be asked to transfer to another campus on days when their services are elsewhere required.
