Arts and Crafts at Camps ‘R’ Us
Creativity is essential for children of all ages, as it allows them to express themselves, while working on skills like critical thinking and problem-solving.
Campers and Tiny Tots have plenty of time to create and refine their artistic abilities each week at Camps ‘R’ Us. Some of the most popular past arts and crafts projects at camp include:

Camps ‘R’ Us Sports Programs
Recreational sports are crucial for children. They promote various areas of physical wellbeing, including bone and muscle development and heart health. Similarly, they also encourage teamwork, foster communication, and improve confidence.
While at Camps ‘R’ Us, children in the Tiny Tots®, Campers, and Explorers® programs get to spend time in our indoor gymnasiums, outdoor ball courts, and fields. Some of the most popular camp sports programs include:

WonderWorks®
What if there were a place where children could go to let their imaginations run wild? At Camps ‘R’ Us, WonderWorks® is the place to do just that.
The WonderWorks® room is a space where campers can get hands-on with various sensory and STEAM toys. Camp staff encourage children to be imaginative, while underscoring that it’s fine to make a mess when creating masterpieces in WonderWorks®.
Tiny Tots and Campers use Magnetiles, Kinex®, , LEGOs, and other STEAM and sensory items in the WonderWorks® room.
Field Trips
While the Camps ‘R’ Us campuses are home to a lot of fun, Long Island offers a host of incredible venues worth exploring. Some of these are specific to each program, while others are for the entire campus.
Provided your camper is enrolled on off-campus days, your camp tuition includes two field trips. There are also bonus field trips, which offer campers the opportunity to visit additional locations. These require an online consent form and there is an additional fee.
Tiny Tots®, Campers, and Explorers® are all eligible for field trips . Some of the popular field trip destinations include:

It’s never too early for children to begin developing their problem-solving skills. STEAM Projects at Camps ‘R’ Us let Campers and Explorers® design and engineer different projects. Along the way, they use the scientific method, hypothesize, and move forward through hands-on discoveries.
These projects promote confidence in experimentation and remind campers that mistakes are part of the process.
