A Look Inside a Typical Day at Camps ‘R’ Us
Where summer vacation comes to life, daily routines balance fun, structure, and supervision on secure school campuses.
- Morning Arrival: Group Leaders welcome campers and kick off the morning with energetic traditions.
- Activity Rotations: Campers participate in sports, arts and crafts, creative projects, and our Explorers® program.
- Lunch Refresh: Campers recharge with lunch, snacks, and hydration breaks.
- Afternoon Rotations and Swim: Afternoon schedules feature swimming, special events, and team games outside.
- End-of-Day Pickup: Counselors bring campers together for dismissal after an action-packed day.

Choosing the right summer experience starts with finding a camp that fits your child’s needs and gives your family confidence. Since 1993, Camps ‘R’ Us has provided Long Island families with structured, supportive, and engaging day camp programs designed to help children build friendships, try new activities, and make the most of their summer.
Starting in 2027, our new, tenth location will make it even easier for Long Island families to find a convenient Camps ‘R’ Us location.
