Each summer, Campers are offered optional “bonus” field trips, which are added to spice up our travel plans off campus. Bonus trips are available for all camp programs, and appear on your campus calendar with a “$” icon indicating that the trip is a bonus trip.
Bonus trips require an online consent form to be completed for each camper in your Camp Account, and are offered for an additional fee not included in the camp tuition. Camps ‘R’ Us offers “passthrough” pricing on all bonus field trips. Trip fees are calculated based on anticipated admission costs for Campers and Staff, additional amenities, transportation, parking, and insurance.
Bonus Trip Forms Deadlines, Expiration Dates, and Fees
Bonus trip forms are available in your camp account (CampInTouch or the Campanion App), and are due by the posted date on the form. Trip forms will expire and disappear from your account if they are not completed before the expiration date, which is usually midnight the day they are due. Please note: if you miss the trip form expiration, please ask a Director on campus to be placed on a waiting list. Please do not call or email the main office. Trip fees will be added to your camp account at some point after the trip date, and are payable according to the same terms of your camp tuition.
Please note: CITs are invited to all bonus field trips free of charge, as long as their assigned group is attending the trips.
