Introducing the Camps ‘R’ Us Explorers® program for campers completing 5th through 8th grade!
Explorers® is taking adventure to the next level with trips 5 days a week! Each week brings new destinations, experiences, and opportunities for campers to explore with their friends. Best of all, all trip fees are included in camp tuition, so there are no additional trip costs for families.
Families can choose from three flexible enrollment options:
Explorers® will have trip opportunities every weekday, Monday through Friday.
On days when a trip does not take up the entire camp day, Explorers® will return to campus and join camp activities, special events, theme days, and other programming.
Campers enrolled during Weeks 7 and 8 will also be on campus for two Camps ‘R’ Us traditions, Color War and our unforgettable Last Day of Camp celebration and Talent Show!
Whether they’re exploring new destinations, trying something new, or spending time with friends, Explorers® gives our older campers a summer filled with adventure, independence, friendships, challenges, and excitement!

The Camps ‘R’ Us Explorers® Program is an exciting travel-based experience for campers completing 5th through 8th grade. For Summer 2027, Explorers® will offer trips 5 days a week, giving our older campers even more opportunities for adventure, independence, and fun with friends.
Families can choose the schedule that works best for them:
All scheduled trip fees are included in camp tuition, so there are no additional trip costs for families.
The biggest difference is the focus on off-campus travel. While our traditional Camper Program offers a full schedule of on-campus activities, special events, and select trips throughout the summer, Explorers® is designed specifically for older campers who are ready for more travel, adventure, and independence.
Explorers® will have trips scheduled Monday through Friday, with flexible 3, 4, and 5-day enrollment options. All scheduled trips on your camper’s enrolled days are included in tuition.
Explorers® offers trips 5 days a week with three flexible enrollment options:
Trips may include destinations such as amusement parks, water parks, beaches, entertainment venues, and other exciting attractions.
On days when a trip does not take up the entire camp day, Explorers® will return to campus and join camp activities, special events, theme days, and other programming.
Attendance on scheduled trips is included with registration, so families do not need to opt in or register separately for individual trips.
For extended-day trips, early drop-off and late pick-up are included at no additional cost. Families of Explorers® also receive waived extended-hours fees for siblings attending our traditional Camper Program.
Absolutely! Even with trips 5 days a week, Explorers® will still have opportunities to enjoy some of the traditions and special events that make Camps ‘R’ Us summer so memorable.
