As the camp season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to remind you of our time-honored tradition of gift-giving. Your child’s positive camp experience might inspire you to express gratitude, and we fully support and promote appropriate expressions of thanks.

Gift-giving at the end of the camp season is a beautiful way to celebrate the connections made and the memories shared. We only ask that all gifts adhere to the values of our camp community.

Inclusivity

Consideration should be given to all members  of your child’s camp group, not just individual Staff Members. Please also consider gifts for the various Activity Staff.

Suggested Gifts

Gifts should be reflective of your child’s overall camp experience. Cash gift suggestions appear below:

• Group Leader – $60
• Group Counselor – $40 
• Junior Counselor – $20
• Activity Counselors – $10

Grazzee App

To make gift giving simple and secure, we have partnered with Grazzee, a contactless tipping app that allows for cash gift giving on your connected device. The app is easy to use and the cash gifts will be sent directly to each Staff Member, similar to Venmo or other payment apps. . As always, cash gifts are still accepted in a sealed, labeled envelope.

Grazzee App Instructions

1. Download the Grazzee app (on iOS or Google Play)
2. Fill out your name and email
3. Click on Give $
4. Go to “give to new entity”; Click on “Camp” and then type in “Camps R Us”.
5. Select your specific campus. 
6. Find your child’s group; Staff members will be listed under each bunk.
7. Enter tip amount and a note if you wish.
8. Click continue then pay.  Select your payment method. You can pay by credit card or with your checking account. Follow the prompts to pay.
9. Once you hit send, the Staff Members are immediately notified by email and push notification. Parents will also get a receipt via email.
10. If you have any trouble using the app, please contact Grazzee directly through their website or app.
